Lianne's Photo Seating Chart

this is my first photograph on a seating chart. I've seen some other on scrolls, but never on a seating chart and it turned out really nice. I can add a picture to a wedding seating chart for no additional charge.

Jackie's Celtic Knot Invitations

Jackie's invitations were ones that I thought were going to be difficult, but ended up being fun and an ease to design. Jackie picked a Celtic knot theme and I did lots of fun variations on the invitation - putting them everywhere - including the custom maps.

Tiffany's Fall Swirl Invitations

Tiffany's colors turned out beautiful with a gold and brown invitation. We kept it simple with just a postcard for an insert, but put everything in gold envelopes. Custom stamps were included too but didn't arrive in time for the pictures unfortunately.

Terrah's Extras

Terrah's Hydrangea wedding invitations were one of my favorites with the hydrangea graphic and unique color scheme. Her extras continued that with a custom sized program, Hydrangea table numbers and this beautiful seating chart with a hydrangea in the background.

Tania's Seating Chart

When I couldn't do Tania's invitations because I was booked, she did a little begging and I agreed to do her extras. I did Celtic Knots on her programs and table numbers and also on her seating chart that you can see here.

Old Man Winter Invitations?

Brittany choose a very pretty swirled graphic for her invitation. I did three proofs and she choose this fun one with the bold color. But she said she kept seeing an old man in the graphic (see the last picture). He's complete with eyebrows and moustache! I did too and unfortunately the graphic was not a good one for editing, but with tons of proofs, we finally got rid of "Old Man Winter" as Brittany dubbed him. :) We did the swirl on all of her pieces - including custom wedding stamps.

Gourmet Invitations does . . . GUITAR PICKS????

Yep, that's right. Molly asked if I would design custom guitar picks for her. As part of her gift to her future husband, she wanted to include guitar picks. I had fun designing something totally different than wedding invitations - and something far more "guy" than "girl". She had them made at Steve Clayton and they turned out awesome.

Molly's Amazing Personal Booklet Menus

Months ago I mentioned to Molly that I always wanted to do an over the top menu. I've seen menus in the past that are an explanation of the evening. Molly loved the idea of continuing her booklet theme from her invitations. We ended up doing these even more custom and personalized the menus with each guests name on the cover. The pages included her bar menu, specialty bar menu, dinner menu and then explanations of her candy buffet and guest book. Other ideas for this menu are explanations of traditions, dances and even the songs that will be played.

Molly's Extras

Molly and Carl mentioned that they wanted their monogram to have a roman numeral date. I'll be honest, I was NOT feeling it. I lived with it for days and then got the thought to do the roman numerals as though they are engraved. When I got done, I warned Molly everything was going to be roman numerals so be prepared. I used the monogram on everything. The graphic from her invitations was also used on all of the pieces. We did booklet programs, labels for her favor boxes, specialty cocktail menu, bar menus, candy buffet labels, a cute candy buffet sign, the seating chart and an entrance sign. The table numbers are all roman numerals. :)

Brianna's Orchid Branch Amazing Pocketfolds

I've been anticipating these invitations for a long time. They really are one of my favorite all time set. Again, on this set, I've made each and every element of the invitation new and like a little surprise. The bright, deep purple pocketfolds have a large seal on the front that is attached in a new way for me. I'm so excited about the closure type seal that keeps the pocket closed. Her invitations are stunning with the orchid graphic on bare branches. The striped background gives the floral design a very masculine touch. I carried the graphic to the front and back of the postcard with these amazing matching custom postage stamps. My favorite element - this large fold out map of the state of Michigan. Since this is a destination wedding, there are a ton of locations and the detail map shows all of the locations for the wedding weekend. There is also a matching Rehearsal Dinner insert. The outer envelopes were designed to let the orchid custom designed stamp be the focus. So thank you too Brianna. I knew the moment that I met you and Jason that the invitations were going to be an extremely important element of your wedding and I'm so happy I was able to design these for you.

Elizabeth's Diamond Invitations

At Elizabeth's consult, she mentioned that she wanted to do a subtle diamond theme for her invitations. We discussed adding a Swarovski Crystal somewhere on the invitations. Over time, we dropped that idea and Elizabeth decided she wanted the diamond more in the way the graphic was presented. When searching for something totally unrelated, I found this gorgeous diamond graphic. I'm not sure how subtle the theme is now though! ;) I went crazy in a moment of creative overdrive. This is my first silver on black writing and I think you'll be seeing it more often now. It turned out amazing. My favorite diamond element - the RSVP card. I made it an actual diamond. The RSVP envelopes continued the light on black printing - as does the return address. There is even a little surprise on the back of the guest sash - a little monogram in a diamond. Elizabeth did say no to the zip code on the outer envelopes being inside a diamond. I guess a girl has to draw the line somewhere. ;) Thanks Elizabeth - I truly love the surprises on every single element of this invitation and I hope your guests do too. :)

Stephanie's Extras

I really loved Stephanie's invitations and especially envelopes. She did a stephanotis graphic and I used the graphic in different ways. I really like the cover of the programs and the green page inside is a little surprise. I also designed a monogram that we used on the unity candle, table numbers and this awesome wedding seating chart.

Yvonne's Seating Chart

I did Yvonne's fun swirl wedding invitations and got to work on this great seating chart. I was able to get lots of her swirls in an around the seating plan to tie back to the invitations.

Cami's Garden Theme Invitations

Garden Theme and Damask sure are the big things this year. Cami has a VERY colorful wedding and reception that choosing colors was difficult. Cami decided to go with Slate Grey and I think the choice was wonderful. We matched the graphic to the slate grey. She accented the pieces with lavender metallic envelopes and directions card, that proved to be the most edited directions ever. ;) The envelope addressing is another new format for me as well - with the address lines tabbing over as they go down the envelope.

Monica's Damask, Plumes, Scroll . . . um something

I don't even know what to call this pattern! It is not really damask, and not plumes, but they are more than scrolls. Whatever it is, I love how different these are. We did the bold red invitation with the text set off center on the invitation. She is my first bride to go for RED RSVP postcards! I love the red envelopes with the border address too.

Alysia's Fleur De Lis Flowers

Alysia is another It's a Shore Thing Bride. She is getting married at Eden Gardens State Park in Santa Rosa Beach, FL and wanted a very garden feel to the invitations. She was thrilled when we found this fleur de lis graphic that has the garden feel, but masculine also. Her envelopes in pale green are addressed in a very script font and the pale green RSVP will be a nice surprise to her guests.

Jennifer's Aqua and Red Invitations

Since Jennifer told me her color combination - blue and red - I've been anticipating these invitations. When we first talked about it, she said she wanted red backing with white invitation printed with blue accents. But white really isn't in her color combination and, to me, adding white makes the invitations patriotic. So I did aqua blue invitations printed in all red. They turned out stunning. Each part becomes another surprise. Starting with the dark red envelope with swirls, the aqua blue envelope liner, and then the three pieces of aqua printed with red. Thanks for going on the crazy side with me Jennifer!

Stacey's Program

I really love doing programs like this - a long piece of cardstock. Stacey has such a fun color combinations - light green, bright green and orange. These green programs are fun, but still elegant.

Lisa's Invitations

Every once in a while I get asked to do a more traditional invitation. Lisa's is what I think of as more traditional, but with fun modern elements. The hot pink elements on the invitation, postcard RSVP and the custom stamps on the outer envelope were just that.

Nadia's Pear Seating Chart

Nadia contacted me a few weeks ago about doing her seating chart. With only 50 guests we did a smaller version than I typically do. Her theme - pears. We added a photo of two pears with the saying "may we all be halves of perfect pairs".

Andrea's Seating Chart - or is it framed art?

Andrea's future mother in law contacted me to do the seating chart for her son's wedding. What was so fun about this chart is that it was of course, a seating chart. But the ultimate location? On their dining room wall! They just bought a new house and they wanted this to be the artwork in their dining room. So having the menu on the chart was particularly important to them. It turned out beautiful with the ivory lily graphic in the background.

Jackie's Amazing Letterpress Invitations

I was thrilled when Jackie contacted me. She is in one of the most expensive invitation markets in the country - New York City. She had gotten crazy outrageous quotes for custom invitations when she found me. We ended up doing one of my most lavish invitations - a complete set of letterpress invitations, with lots of custom elements.

The invitation was originally designed with black flourishes in each corner. but when Jackie saw Jody's blind debossed invitations, she loved the white on white look and she decided to change it. The look is amazing with the plumes in the corners and deep black printing. The RSVP cards are different with lines for each guest and their meal choice. Reception and Directions cards completed the letterpress pieces.

Then we added modern touches - silver RSVP envelopes with custom stamps. Sashes around the inserts that have the guest's names (this replaces the inner envelope) and I even lined them with black paper. And silver envelopes with a bold graphic and custom wedding stamps that fit perfectly into the design.

These are one of my invitations of the year that I feel shows where my company is headed. Jackie said "all the little details - that is my favorite thing about all your work. All the items are beautiful but I LOVE the little surprises like the stamps and details with the addresses and fonts :)"

Jackie's Margarita Rehearsal Dinner Invitations

Jackie has my most formal invitations of the year (see her post above). Even her Save the Dates were formal. For the rehearsal, she wanted to do something VERY fun. the dinner is at Adobe Grill in Chicago and she wanted to do a Margarita theme! I chose these brilliant green envelopes with yellow liners. The graphic is so cute with the salt on the rim and swirls in the background.

Megan's Black Iris Reception

Black is becoming my favorite color scheme. No matter the design, the colors are stunning and classic. Megan's very modern iris graphic is another example of this. I did her candle and table numbers. But the best piece is the wedding seating chart that I did white on black.

Molly's Rehearsal Dinner Invitations

Molly wanted something fun and funky for her rehearsal dinner invitations. Her wedding and invitations are so formal, she really wanted something to tell her guests this was a fun affair. She also wanted to do a combination rehearsal dinner and brunch invitation. I had these fun aqua blue z-folds on hand and I asked if I could just surprise her with the design. She went for it! (I'm so proud of you Molly ;) ) I came up with the "Boy meets Girl" theme when Molly mentioned she'd like to do a timeline of sorts. Then I designed this funky block stack in fun aquas and greens. Even the envelopes are addressed with varying colors.

Monica's Extras

Monica's reception is going to be gorgeous. She is a great example that the invitations don't have to match the reception. Her L shaped invitations are one of my favorites of the year. But her reception is going to be hot pink! We did lots of extras - gorgeous hot pink programs with tons of "pink" space. ;) matching white tent table numbers, menus that are going to have a beautiful napkin wrap with a pink leaf on top, and even food station signs. Monica is doing a super unique martini menu that I'd love to sneak in just to sample each. And we also did a sign explaining the concept of the Wish Bowl. Her hot pink wedding seating chart with white printing is gorgeous and will make a wonderful entrance to what is sure to be an amazing event.

Lindsay's New Programs

Lindsay had asked me to make her seating chart months ago. Then her mom asked if I could make a new style program. These are cardstock long programs with a decorative silk ribbon. They turned out great and match her apple green chart perfectly.

Elizabeth's Monogram

Elizabeth's invitations were a fun change - a premarried monogram with an ornament. When designing the extras pieces, I took that simple theme and used it on all of the pieces. Her seating chart is little different size for me as she is mounting it on a mirror! And this is my first seating chart to go international - Canada - but it's still another country. ;)

Meredith's Extras

Meredith had fun swirls and dots on her wedding invitations and I used them on her two items - the table numbers and seating chart. Her bold colors of red, pink and orange are all subtly represented in the monogram and the swirls.

Sarah's Fleur-de-lis invitations

Sarah is a French major and her fiance a firefighter. She contacted me before she even had a date set and mentioned her idea to combine the two and do a fleur-de-lis theme for her invitation. I kept my eye out for graphics and found this beautiful fleur-de-lis that has a leaf idea going on too to bring in her fall theme as well. We did this as one of my new Pamela Panels and the colors are so amazing together - an old gold and deep red. We used French headings for all of the pieces and in a moment of creativity, I thought of Soiree for the reception. :) Custom stamps complete her awesome set. Can't wait to design the reception pieces!

Anne's Placecards!

I've been talking to Anne for a year. I'd seen her plotted plants in my email box for months. Somehow in my sleepy state last week, I had a vision of her placecards being little flags. I found decorative tooth picks and made these crazy little flags. Her table numbers feature her menu in a bright green. And her gold programs bring back the invitation graphic.
