Leigh Ann's Extras

August was an odd month for me. I didn't have many "extras" to do that month. So when Leigh Ann asked if I could do her programs and table numbers, I said sure. The "S" was their main theme and she asked that I put a tiny maltese cross on each item. Her's was the first order to use my new dark red paper!

Fear of Spiders

Not me, thankfully, because Maureen's Halloween wedding invitations are loaded with spiders - not to mention bats, skulls, and grave markers. I had the most fun with these and loved the break from an Ecru wedding invitation. Can't wait to work on the seating chart! ;) To see her entire set, click here.

Mary Beth's extras

I had a terrible time deciding which picture to feature in this blog. I decided on the programs, which are another new design for me. The simple double sided cardstock programs are wonderful when you don't have a ton of information to include in the program. But check out Mary Beth's firefighter themed table numbers, donation cards, and placecards here!

Pimp my Panel

I originally designed the panel invitation because I had a bride that loved my designs but had a tight budget. Over time, my "budget" invitation has become a favorite and I have brides requesting it because the prefer the style, not because it is all they can afford. That was the deal with Elisabeth - she had a large budget, but wanted the panels. So for Elisabeth, I  *pimped* it up and added another layer. To see her entire set, click here.

Who says Thomas can't be at a wedding?

I'm constantly looking for ways to photograph my work, and Mandi's bike theme invitations just had to be photographed with a bike. My 2 year old's Thomas bike was the only one I had handy. ;) To see Mandi's invites, click here.

Save the Dates

I did only one Save the Date this year, but I'm already getting tons of requests for next year. Emily asked me to make a simple Save the Date that is inspired by her Tiffany's theme. To see her page, click here.

Monograms as Themes

When there isn't a theme to a wedding, I almost always create one. Lauren and Justin's monogram is so unique with the small letters and orchid in place of an initial or ampersand. All of the pieces in this invitation came so quickly. Lauren was wonderful in trusting that I could make this one tiny element the cohesion that brought all of her invitation and future reception pieces together. Her postcard is absolutely one of my favorites, and she told me she gasped when she saw the proof.;) To see the entire set, click here.

Carissa's Seating Chart

I was very fortunate that not only did Carissa ask me to do her seating chart, but that she had only 60 lines for her chart and I was able to add the design from her invitation. Her invitations were so memorable, I doubt her guests will walk in and forget that her seating chart was an exact match. I was able to use a script font for her entire seating chart - something I've wanted to do, but am usually restricted by the space. To see her entire set, click here.

My most formal invitations yet

Leah really wanted a very formal invitation for her wedding. These are definitely my most formal invitations that I have done. Leah went all out with her shower to have fun - see her invites here. But she wanted to tell her guests that this was a formal wedding - and these invitations in deep Antique Gold say that. To see her entire set, click here.

New Programs!

I'm constantly trying to come up with new and unique ways to make one sheet of paper look different. I had the idea of folding the program a little different and then got inspired from the latest Martha Stewart Weddings to put a bold "cover" on it. When Kathleen sent over her program and I saw it would fit in this format, I had to try it. I used a simple ornament from her invitations and made this very bold design to act as the cover. But this is just one piece of Kathleen's extras. Click here to see her whole set - including placecards, candy buffet signs, and family photo signs.

Melissa's Extras

I'm not sure which piece of Melissa's is my favorite - her unity candle with pressed flower, her programs with a new size ribbon and new size booklet for me, the table numbers, or her seating chart with hydrangea background. The color combination is beautiful and everything is going to be so coordinated next weekend. To see her whole set, click here.

Colored Seating Chart

I have a few of these designed for upcoming weddings, but Amy's is the first to be printed. Why not make the background a color instead of white?! I didn't see any reason why I shouldn't. To see Amy's table numbers and invitations, click here.

Why talking to me is important

Colette came to me with a very tight budget. But she knew what she wanted - crystals on her invitations. Because they were so important to her, she was willing to cut in other areas. Knowing her firm budget and her desires, I was able to make a very budget conscious invitation look nothing but a budget invitation. To see more of Colette's invitations, click here.

When you're striving for Unique

Krista and Matt want their wedding to be very unique. I've listed some of their wedding items on their page. But their consult is my perfect example of - if you just talk to me, I can come up with something. To read more about the invitation and Krista and Matt's unique theme, click here.

Maureen's shower

Maureen's shower invites are a first for me - a VERY formal panel with a monogram. I got the chance to use one of my new envelope colors - Burnt Sugar - looks just like the name describes. To see her invitation, click here.
